Playing Catch-Up

I am happy to say that I am completely caught up now (and hope to stay that way). I still have no clue what we are making, but I have to say I loved the ballgown idea that Grace shared!

My Day one and Two

Hi,

I am Margaret from Somerset in the UK.   I am using Lizbeth thread Purple Splendor for my TIAS.
Here is my Day one
Day one
 Here is My Day Two

Day two
These two photos were taken within twenty minutes in the same place,  but the light went the blue should look purple.  I can see one of my picots is too big I might start it again in a few days,  but I have a few things on my shuttles at the moment,  need to empty a couple before starting again.
I don't know what it is perhaps a chinese vase.
Hugs
Margaret

Days 1 & 2

This is Grace in Singapore.
Well, I was late with Day 1, but here I am with Day 2 already! :-) I'm using Lizbeth Caribbean, Size 20.

Guesses? Well, after Day 1 I thought it looked like a flower, or perhaps the innards of a caterpillar. But now I think it might look like the skirt of a crinoline lady.

Day 2...

So, here we are, Day 2 (it's only 6 pm here, so most of the rest of you are probably still sleeping...at last, the time difference works in my favor!) :)

I think it looks a little like the top of a chicken's head if you turn it this way:
Keeping my "the first ring is an eye" guess alive...for now :)

Maybe it smells like a chicken, too...Pip was very interested in checking it out!

This is fun! :)
