I am a little behind and may be trailing for a while. We shall see. I recently received a promotion of sorts at work (I drive a school bus for the Iowa City school district and am now training to be a driver trainer) and am still working my second job at the University 3 evenings a week and on Saturday. Doesn't leave me a lot of time and energy for much else. Hopefully when I adjust to the new schedule things will get back to normal. This weekend I was able to get days 4 and 5 completed.

Congrats in the promotion, and thanks for being a driver! That is a tough job! (I know what you have to deal with, I'm a teacher) :) I hope you enjoy training!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I find it a very rewarding job and will miss my kids when I have to give up my route at the end of my training. I have had my route for 5 years (this is my 6th with the route and 7th as a driver) and one of my students I have had the entire time with the route. It is a bitter sweet thing and one that I had to think really hard about before I went ahead with it. Oh, I guess I should also say that I drive a special needs lift bus. Anyway, I decided that it was an opportunity that was to good to pass up.
